Hello and thanks advance! This is my first time doing this type of exchange so please reach out if anything here is confusing!

For my general preferences, what I'm hoping for is some delicious angst and tragedy! A lot of the fandoms and ships I've requested have this kind of thing baked into the plot and that's why I love them.

In particular, I am a sucker for tragic love stories where the characters deeply, genuinely care for each other and it simply does not work out well. Could be circumstances keeping them from getting together or tearing them apart, could be their personal struggles preventing them from making a move, could be that they're doing their best and they're just not having a successful relationship. Really, anything where there's a contrast between the intensity of their love and the difficulties of their circumstances. This can also apply to platonic love!

I love horror elements that leave readers asking questions. I'm not the biggest fan of graphic violence and gore but I'd love to read something that makes me feel vaguely unsettled or worried for the characters, but with an ambiguity present. There might be something bad in their futures, but who knows...!

I'm not looking for smut in this exchange! I love a good pwp smut fic but that's simply not what I want to request. References to sex, fade to black, and so on are totally fine.

Kaze to Ki no Uta


I love Kazeki and will read pretty much anything for this tiny fandom!

Jules and Rosemarine are my favorite characters and I'd love to see anything with them. In particular I'm fascinated by their dynamic: their lives entwined since childhood with a clear romantic tension, but Rosemarine's misanthropy makes it hard for him to fully trust anyone and Jules has seen Rosemarine at his worst and doesn't really like it.

One idea that springs to mind is one of them doing something that goes against their shared principals/beliefs--how does the other one react?

I'm also interested in Serge and Rosemarine's dynamic. I think Serge has some things in common with Jules but he's so sweet and naive! Maybe he tries to be sweet to Rosemarine and gets rejected because of Rosemarine's internal chaos, or maybe Rosemarine accepts him but it doesn't end well due to other circumstances like religious guilt.

Kazeki is filled to the brim with characters coping with childhood abuse, often poorly! I'd enjoy seeing that explored in a fic so long as the focus is on coping/recovery (or lack thereof) rather than the abuse itself. And back to Jules--he's had a rough life but unlike many of the other characters he's not recovering from sexual abuse, and it's clear that he doesn't really understand what Rosemarine and Gilbert are going through or how to best help them. Fucking up the hurt/comfort = delicious angst.

Note that I'm not as interested in Gilbert and Auguste.

Heavy-handed religious imagery is encouraged... it's Kaze to Ki no Uta.



Persona 2

I don't have any specific prompts for this, sorry! I'm just here for angsty timeloop/alternate universe shenanigans. Feel free to play fast and loose with how that actually works, I won't care if the timeline isn't fully canon compliant.

I didn't think to add ship tags to the set but I love Tatsuya/Jun and Maya/Ulala.



Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken

Baby's first FE! As of late I've really come to appreciate the adult characters in a way I couldn't as a kid. Rekka no Ken doesn't have much of a chance to focus on it but there are bits and pieces of how the difficulties in each character's life has impacted them.

I've picked out Legault, Heath, Isadora, Renault, and Nino for characters that I'd love to focus on--any or all. I like any ship you can make out of the adults in the group (so no Nino ships please and thank you).

You can use the existing support conversations for inspiration: Isadora doubting her faith, Legault caring for Nino but feeling like in the long run she needs to be away from him, Renault dealing with the demons of his past, Heath and Legault... being Heath and Legault? Or go wild with interactions that don't exist in canon! I think Renault and Legault would have a lot to talk about, or Heath and any of the other characters.

All the wartime hurt/comfort (or hurt/no comfort) cliches apply: injury care, dying together, one person dying and the other trying to move on. Or anything addressing these characters' moral and ethical dilemmas--killing is never easy but each of these characters has a particularly unique struggle and a distinct viewpoint.

Timeloop/reincarnation type stuff doesn't really fit into established canon but if you were so inspired to do a Legault/Heath timeloop/reincarnation AU of some sort I would cry happy tears.



Fire Emblem: Awakening

Awakening has such great tragic ship potential! My favorite ship is Tiki/Say'ri and I think it's ripe for "characters are in love but it doesn't work out due to life circumstances" as described above. In particular though I would love something with reincarnation or timeloop elements. Again, I'm too picky about the technicalities--I don't know exactly how different timelines are supposed to work in canon and I don't care! Main game canon? Future past? They die together and find each other again when they're reincarnated? Devilman AU? It's all a plot device for characters to suffer.

Some ideas for this dynamic: one is hurt and the other must care for them, they get together in a timeline where their side is losing the war, Tiki deals emotionally with Say'ri's shorter lifespan/losing her, Tiki meets Say'ri's reincarnation centuries later, one meets the other from a different timeline.

I love this dynamic as a platonic friendship and would not be at all disappointed with friendship fic!

On top of that I love these characters individually so if you are more inclined, I would love to read a fic focused on either of them. Maybe Tiki is dealing with her longer lifespan on her own as her loved ones pass her by--or maybe she's meeting her loved ones in their next lives. Maybe one of them is stuck in a timeloop or hopping between different dimensions hoping to find a good timeline!

If you choose to include other characters, I prefer the second generation!



Fire Emblem: Three Houses

I am but a simple lover of how the war effects each and every character in 3H. Any combination of the listed characters is great! I'm open to platonic or romantic interpretations.

In particular I would love something where two characters who were formerly allies end up on opposite sides, and the sky's the limit for how that turns out. Do they refuse to fight? Does one defect? Do they make out? Does one kill the other? Do they make out and then kill each other?!

Some dynamics I like:
- Dorothea and Edelgard: Dorothea can be very practical and focuses on what she needs to do to survive but she's also a romantic! If they end up separated, she might end up dwelling on what could have been if things had been different with her Edie. If they're together, how does Edelgard's focus on the war impact her?
- Ashe and Yuri: What a fascinating dynamic even in two battle conversations! Tell me more about them--will they even be friends now? What if there's a conflict of interest?
- Ashe and Dedue: Ashe and Dedue are so sweet in canon! What if something bad happened to them!
- Yuri and Dorothea: A pair of beauties! So similar and yet so different! I love them finding solace in each other and weathering the storm together and I love them ending up as enemies!
- Dimitri and Felix: Always a dynamic that's ripe with potential! The first thing that comes to mind, though, is opposite-sides-of-the-war angst. I recruited Felix in my CF run and he's of course always talking shit about Dimitri, but of course he cares for him underneath it all. Maybe he realizes it after it's too late?
- Dimitri and Edelgard: Tragic to the core.
- Edelgard and Felix: As inspired by the above! How does Felix feel about Dimitri in whatever route you might take, and how does he talk about him to Edelgard?
- Ashe and Dorothea and Yuri: The three of them together would be amazing! They would have so much to talk about!
- Mercedes and ???: I just love her idk.
